Finally, compression socks that stay up
Cut with real room through 2XL to 4XL calves, so the band holds at the top instead of sliding to your ankle by lunch.
90-day returns. Ships in 1 to 2 days.
- Stays up through a full shift, not just the walk to your car
- Cut with real room through the calf, not just stretched fabric
- Sized 2XL to 4XL for actual wide calves, 18 to 27 inches
- 3 prints in every pack, so it is not the same pair twice this week
Why the ones you tried before didn't work
You've bought compression socks before, probably more than once. And by the second or third wear, the same thing happens: the band slides, the fabric bunches at your ankle, and somewhere around hour three of a shift you're yanking them back up again.
For a real wide calf, a label that says "plus size" usually just means stretched thin enough to get on, not actually cut with room to stay where you put it. That is a sizing problem, not a you problem.
Here's what's actually going on
Most compression socks are cut for an average calf, then stretched to cover bigger ones. That's a bit like buying a jacket sized for your shoulders and hoping it fits your arms too. It rides up no matter how good the fabric is.
ShiftGuard socks are cut differently from the start. The calf panel gets real room through 2XL to 4XL, so the band at the top only has one job left to do: stay at the top.
- 1Check your calf against the 2XL–4XL chart below.
- 2The wider calf panel holds its shape instead of thinning out to fit.
- 3The band stays put at the top of your calf, not creeping down to your ankle.
What changes once they actually fit
"Twelve-hour shifts used to mean pulling my socks back up by hour four. These stayed put through a full double."
Telemetry nurse, plus-size calf
"I stopped buying 'wide calf' socks that were really just regular ones with extra stretch. These have actual room."
Verified shopper
"No more rings around my calves at the end of the day."

Sized for a real wide calf
2XL fits an 18 to 21 inch calf. 3XL fits 21 to 24 inches. 4XL fits 24 to 27 inches. Measure once, order the size that actually matches, and stop guessing between two sizes that both feel wrong.
Three prints, zero boring pairs
Every pack comes with three different prints, so laundry day doesn't mean reaching for the same pair again. Something to wear under scrubs, something for a travel day, something just because you like it.
Still between two sizes? Here's what that actually looks like
If your calf measurement lands near the edge of a size range, that's normal, not a problem. The wider cut means a size that's slightly big still holds its shape instead of bagging out, so sizing up is the safer call when you're in between.
Built to hold a full shift
The wider calf panel means the band isn't the only thing doing the holding. That's the difference between socks that slide by hour three and a pair you forget you're wearing until you take them off.
What a real wide-calf fit actually changes
- No more re-adjusting your socks mid-shift
- No pinch marks when you take them off at the end of the day
- One less thing to think about before a double
Why this pair works when "wide calf" on the label didn't
A real 2XL–4XL chart
Not one stretchy "plus size" guess. Three sizes, each with its own calf and ankle range.
Room through the calf, not just the ankle
The band can stay at the top because the panel underneath isn't being stretched to its limit.
3 prints, not 1 color
So you're not stuck wearing the same single-color pair on repeat all week.

Questions before you order
I bought “plus size” compression socks before and they did nothing. Why would these be different?
Most “plus size” compression socks are really one stretchy size, which just means the fabric is pulled thinner to fit a bigger calf, not cut with more room. ShiftGuard uses a 2XL to 4XL chart with its own calf and ankle range for each size, so the fit isn't a guess.
What size do I need for a 25 inch calf?
A 25 inch calf falls at the top of our 3XL range (21 to 24 inches) or the start of 4XL (24 to 27 inches). If you are right on the line, size up for a looser, all-day fit.
I'm very tall or very short. Will these actually reach?
These are knee-high and sized for calf and ankle circumference, not leg length. If you are notably taller or shorter than average, they may sit slightly below or above the knee rather than exactly at it.
Will these cut off my circulation if I size down?
Sizing down on purpose is not recommended. Order the size your calf measurement actually falls into. A sock that is too tight for your calf is more likely to dig in, not less.
Are these medical grade? What compression level are they?
These are everyday graduated compression socks, not a prescribed medical device. If you have a diagnosed circulation or vein condition, check with your doctor about the compression level they recommend before relying on any over-the-counter sock.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and typically arrive within 5 to 10 days after that.
What if they don't fit?
You have 90 days to return them. Measure your calf against the chart first; most fit issues come down to ordering off instinct instead of a tape measure.
Can I wear these for a full shift on my feet?
Yes, that is what they are built for. The wider calf panel is designed to hold through long periods of standing or walking, not just a quick errand.
